🥗 What I Eat in a Day
Simple meals that fuel my body and fit my lifestyle.
I’m not a nutritionist or chef — just someone who loves feeling good in her body without overcomplicating things. My approach to food is all about balance, real ingredients, and flexibility. No strict rules — just meals that are nourishing, satisfying, and easy to prep.
At The Everyday Edit, I’m sharing what a typical day of eating looks like for me — to inspire, not prescribe. Your plate should reflect your needs, taste, and rhythm. Here’s mine.
☀️ Morning
Warm Lemon Water + Coffee
I start with a glass of lemon water (for hydration) followed by coffee with a splash of almond milk.
Breakfast: Greek Yogurt Bowl
Greek yogurt
Banana slices + berries
Chia seeds + granola
Drizzle of almond butter
Light, protein-rich, and keeps me full through the morning.
🕛 Lunch
Power Salad with Protein
Mixed greens
Roasted sweet potato
Grilled chicken or chickpeas
Avocado
Olive oil + lemon dressing
Optional side: A piece of sourdough or crackers with hummus.
This combo gives me energy without making me feel sluggish.
☕ Afternoon Snack
Matcha or Iced Coffee + Energy Bites
Homemade or store-bought — typically oats, nut butter, honey, and dark chocolate chips.
Sometimes I’ll grab a handful of almonds or cut veggies with hummus.
🌇 Dinner
One-Pan Roasted Veg + Protein
Salmon, tofu, or turkey meatballs
Roasted broccoli, zucchini, carrots
Quinoa or brown rice
I keep dinner simple, seasonal, and satisfying.
Sometimes I swap the protein or veggies depending on what’s in the fridge.
🌙 Evening Treat
Dark chocolate square or herbal tea
I usually want something sweet — and I listen to that.
Chamomile or peppermint tea winds me down for the night.
Final Thoughts
This isn’t about being perfect — it’s about tuning in and feeling good.
Some days I eat more, snack less, or order takeout. That’s real life.
But most days, these meals support my energy, mood, and rhythm — and I genuinely enjoy them.
