🕯 My Sunday Reset Routine
The rhythm that keeps my week (and mindset) steady.
Sundays aren’t just the end of the week — they’re a chance to begin again. For me, a Sunday reset isn’t about doing everything — it’s about doing a few meaningful things that help me feel grounded, clear, and ready for whatever the week holds.
At The Everyday Edit, my reset routine is simple, intentional, and totally flexible. Here’s what it looks like — and how you can build your own.
🛏 1. Slow Start, No Guilt
No alarms, no pressure.
I give myself a slower morning — coffee in bed, reading a few pages, stretching.
Rest is part of the reset.
🧺 2. Light Cleaning + Laundry
I don’t deep-clean — I reset the vibe.
Tidy up surfaces
Do 1–2 loads of laundry
Change sheets and towels
Wipe down the bathroom sink
Clean space = clear head.
🧠 3. Brain Dump + Weekly Plan
I sit down with a notebook or planner and write out:
Tasks on my mind
Appointments or deadlines
Meals I want to prep or shop for
This clears mental clutter and helps me move into Monday with intention.
🥘 4. Prep a Few Food Basics
Nothing fancy — just things that save time later:
Wash & chop veggies
Cook a grain or protein
Make overnight oats or a smoothie pack
It’s more about making the week easier than perfect meal prep.
🕯 5. Reconnect with Myself
I check in emotionally.
Am I feeling rested or drained?
What do I need more or less of next week?
Sometimes this means journaling. Sometimes it’s just silence.
🌙 6. Set the Mood for Sleep
Shower or bath
Herbal tea
Screens off (or low) by 9 p.m.
A book, candle, or soft playlist
I ease into sleep instead of crashing into it.
Final Thoughts
Your Sunday doesn’t need to be packed with productivity to be powerful.
A few thoughtful actions — done with care — can reset your space, your mind, and your week.
